Tailor your CV to each job

Tailor your CV (and application letter) to become more attractive to employers. The goal here is to get invited to more interviews and encounter less rejection. Sending out hundreds of application will only lead to rejections, disappointment and reduces performance at interview. Send less, applications but make each one count for more.

Analyse the job advert for key words and make sure your CV contains these. If the job is asking for experience in a particular field make sure your CV gives examples of your experience in that field. Treat writing a CV and application like an exam. If you don’t answer all of the questions you won’t get all of the marks.
